Went to see Carrie Underwood at Ravinia...she is a good performer but a total dork! She is so awkward when she talks on stage between songs, but I forgive her since her music is so great. Went to DC for Emily and Dave's wedding over Labor Day weekend. We were greeted by Michael Wilbon when we got off the plane in DC. He seemed like a pretty cool dude...he was with his kid and he was wearing his Bears hat. DC was pretty awesome. Got to go back to Georgetown for the first time since 2000 when I studied there for a summer. Hit up The Tombs, my favorite bar/restaurant in Georgetown. Fantasy football draft was GREAT. Got my boy Tom Brady again. School started back up again. I am taking 2 classes so that I have time for wedding duties and a honeymoon (caribbean) in early November. Other than that life is the same. Getting really excited for the wedding in 6 weeks! Still searching for full-time employment as well. So, if you are out there reading this let me know if I can work for you!
